Since 2010, Drop Metal has been creating custom, high-quality metalwork in Huntsville, AL. As a design and fabrication studio, we specialize in unique, custom products and small-batch specialty items using metal and complementary materials.

Drop Metal was founded by Micah Gregg after completing tech school welding and earning a degree in Industrial Design from Auburn University. The studio started in a repurposed barn on the Gregg family farm in Prospect, TN, and eventually moved to its current location in a former auto body shop in west Huntsville.

At Drop Metal, we blend clean design with rustic accents, focusing on handmade craftsmanship. Our product offerings include custom signage, lighting, furniture, outdoor art installations, and home decor. We also produce a unique line of home decor items, including wall hooks and other pieces, where customers can personalize the color to suit their style.
